Viva las Vegas!

Since our lives are soon to be filled with the joys of being up all night with 2 infants, me in "cow" mode, feeding 24/7, as well as trying to raise a toddler, Bobby and I decided that we should have some "us" time before all the craziness starts. Enter Las Vegas. Neither of us had ever been, and I don't think it's a place I am likely to visit again. Don't get me wrong, there are a ton of cool sites and amazing architecture, but it is such a crazy, sinful city. I also have this pet peeve of people smoking around me, especially when I'm pregnant or have a child with me, and it seems like everyone is smoking down there. So anyway, it's just not my type of place. Maybe next time we'll go somewhere relaxing like the Caribbean!

Belly Watch 2

Okay, so I've been getting lots of requests for a new belly shot- so here it is. I feel like I am big, but most people say I'm not. After seeing this picture I am a little disappointed because I look smaller looking at myself from other's perspective. I swear I am getting really big! The pregnancy is going really well, I am just really uncomfortable. If you think you run out of room in there with 1 just try and fit 2!

Round-Up 2008

We didn't get too involved with the festivities this year, but I did take Keanan to both parades. Bobby officially decided that he hates Round-Up after I sent him to the grocery store and half the parking lot was a BBQ dinner and traffic was totally crazy.

Aunt Jennifer, cousin Deacon, and Keanan watching one of the parades.
He loved the horses and cows!

Keanan and some friends picking up the candy!

He caught on to the idea of candy being thrown at him real fast! He of course took his candy to the most likely person to open it for him, Papa!

Meet Max

So I thought that I would introduce everyone to the newest member of our family, Max. Bobby has been BEGGING (and I'm not exaggerating) for a hunting dog for a while now and I said, maybe in 10 years. Well that was before a black lab ended up in my parents' back yard whose owners wanted to put him to sleep. Being the humane person that I am, I of course said that we could keep him. He is 2 years old and is already trained, so he is a pretty good dog. The one catch to me accepting this responsibility is that he is BOBBY's dog and I am not going to spend my time picking up after it. But he is an outside dog, so that way I can try to keep the house clean and animal-hair free. It has been fun though! Here are some pics of him- he's a looker.
